RPI Rounak

RPI Rounak is a Bollywood fusion competitive dance team on campus. Their performances blend a variety of styles, including hip hop, Bhangra, contemporary, kuthu, and Bollywood. Each year, they prepare a five-minute piece representing a specific theme — in past years, these have included Queen, YOU, and Kung Fu Panda.

They also perform annually at competitions that draw teams from across the country, including California and Pittsburgh.

History

They are currently entering their seventh year as a team.

In the 2024-2025 school year, they won Best Mix at the National Desi Dance League’s Steel City Sapna Competition.
